Course Description
A postgraduate programme called M.Tech Earthquake Science & Engineering is dedicated to researching earthquakes and how they affect the environment and built environment. Seismology, earthquake engineering, geotechnical engineering, structural dynamics, and catastrophe management are some of the subjects covered in the programme. Graduates of this programme are prepared to devise and put into action plans for reducing earthquake risk and mitigating hazards. Admission requirements include a Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or a closely related subject, and the programme normally lasts two years.
