Course Description

Power Electronics and Drives is an emerging discipline of engineering, which essentially involves concepts and processes of the conversion of power for efficient utilization. Students enrolled to the course are taught on an advanced level about the technology used in energy conversion, switching electrical machines, drives, industrial equipment, power systems, and applications of fast-developing electronics such as electrical machines and power systems.

Eligibilty

The candidate should have completed Bachelor’s Degree in B.E/B.Tech in relevant faculty or discipline from a recognized university with Minimum of 50% marks in aggregate. Many colleges conduct Entrance exams and require a valid GATE score for admission to this course.
