Course Description

M. Tech Electrical (PEPS) is a 2 years postgraduate course. The course curriculum covers topics like Advanced Power Electronics, Power System Modeling, Advanced Control Theory, Advanced Power Electronics, Power System Simulation, HVDC and FACTS, Power Quality, Advanced Electrical Drives, etc. The course takes a theoretical and practical based approach. On completion of the course, one can work as an Electrical Engineer, Senior Electrical Engineer, Power Electronics and Drives Engineer, Engineering Executive, Regulatory Officer, etc. Applicants can further go into research or become a lecturer.

Eligibilty

The candidate should have completed Bachelor’s Degree in relevant faculty or discipline from a recognized university with a Minimum of 55% marks in aggregate. Many colleges conduct Entrance exams for admission to this course.
