Course Description

M.Tech Environmental Management of Rivers and Lakes is full time two year post graduate degree course with 4 semester. This course has been designed to offer to eligible candidates specialization in a wide range of management of water resources, land or air pollution, while at the same time building competence in a particular area of business. The program trained students competent business acumen through advanced study of Computational Methods, Environmental Microbiology, Environmental Chemistry, Water Supply Management, Municipal Water Treatment, Waste Water Management, Industrial Water Treatment, Applied Statistics for Environmental Engineering, Environmental Impact Assessment, Air Pollution Control, Solid and Hazardous, Waste Management, Industrial Pollution Prevention, Remote Sensing and GIS Application, Ecological Engineering, Environmental Biotechnology , later allowing them to specialize in a chosen area.

Eligibilty

The candidate should have completed Bachelor’s Degree in B.E/B.Tech from a recognized university with Minimum of 50% marks in aggregate. Many colleges conduct Entrance exams or require a valid GATE score for admission to this course.
