Course Description

Thermal engineering is all about flow of fluids and therefore the process of heat transfer in thermal energy systems. It deals with heating and cooling of apparatus, enclosed environment or a system. Fluid flow and thermal engineering has numerous industrial applications like in cryogenic engineering, air con , refrigeration etc. The focus is additionally on designing and developing new systems by exploring new areas and applications. The course program is extremely relevant for current industries, because it covers a broad range of topics within the domain of thermodynamics and hydraulics .

Eligibilty

The candidate should have completed B.E/B.Tech from a recognized university with at least 60% marks in aggregate. Degree should be either in mechanical, automobile, aerospace, chemical or other related engineering branches. Many colleges conduct Entrance exams for admission to this course.
