Course Description
M.Tech Food Safety and Quality Assurance is a 2 years postgraduate course. The course curriculum covers topics like Optimization Techniques in Food Technology, Advanced Food Chemistry, Food Quality Control, Modern Fruits & Vegetables Processing Techniques, Advanced Food Packaging, Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point Planning and Implementation, Control of Food-Borne Micro-organism, Hygienic Design of Food Processing Equipment, etc. The course takes a theoretical based approach. On completion of the course, one can work as Food Safety Officer, Quality Assurance Manager, Health Safety Officer, Quality Associate, Food Technologist Technical Associate, Safety Officer, etc. Applicants can further go into research or become a lecturer.
