Course Description
M.Tech Food Science and Technology is 2 year post graduation program divided into 4 semester. With advancements in the food processing industry, developments such as reduction in food wastage, increase in rural income, value addition, employment generation, crop diversification, and export earnings result. Food processing is one of the largest industries in India. Included within the discipline are all kinds of food products, such as fruits and vegetables, meat, dairy, fishery, poultry, consume foods, alcoholic drinks, grains, aerated water and soft drinks, as are their processing techniques.
