Course Description
M.Tech. Genetic Engineering or Master of Technology in Genetic Engineering is a postgraduate Genetic Engineering course. Genetic engineering, also called genetic modification, is the direct human manipulation of an organism's genome using modern DNA technology. It involves the introduction of foreign DNA or synthetic genes into the organism of interest. The duration of Master of Technology in Genetic Engineering is generally a two year, but it may vary from institute to institute and also may be on a part-time basis by certain institutes. The syllabus for the course is divided into four semesters plus some electives. The course is very valuable and important which is job-orienting in nature and opens many career scopes for the degree holders after its completion.
