The programme is designed to take students through the wider aspects of security threats and associated strategies for solving such problems. There are three verticals that have been identified for specializations: application security, threat intelligence, and security analytics. Students are exposed to various tools for secure communications, analytics, and threat management. Security information, itself, is sensitive and should be protected. Disaster recovery, security audit reports, the security policies, and business continuity plans, and similar information of a business are all highly sensitive. If they compromised, the information could be used to exploit vulnerabilities in the business.
