Course Description

M.Tech in Thermal and Propulsion is a full-time 2-year program that focuses on the mechanics and thermal-fluid aspects of aerospace propulsion including gas-turbine and space propulsion systems. This course aims to provide a comprehensive understanding of the fundamentals of Aerospace Engineering and to create professionals that have advanced, in-depth knowledge, necessary skills and extensive training required to work in Airlines, Air Force, Defence Ministry, Aviation Companies, etc. Throughout the duration of this course, core subjects that are covered are- Elements of Aerospace Engineering, Fluid Dynamics, Aerospace Propulsion, Advanced Heat Transfer, Fundamentals of Combustion, Computational Fluid Dynamics, Compressible Flow etc.

Eligibilty

The candidate should have completed B.E / B.Tech from a recognized university with Minimum of 60% marks in aggregate. Many colleges conduct Entrance exams and/or require a valid GATE score for admission to this course.
