Course Description

M.Tech in Water Resources Development Engineering is a 2-year full-time program that is designed to develop a comprehensive understanding of water supplies, irrigation and waste disposal and lay emphasis on the development of innovative technology and methods to address issues related to human water resources. The main aim of this course is to create professionals that have an advanced knowledge base, necessary skillset and extensive training required to work in some of the major industries in this field. Throughout the duration of the course, some of the core subjects that are covered are fluid mechanics, water quality, resource development, subsurface hydrology and aquatic transport. This course also offers specialisation in subsurface water, surface water or watershed modelling.

Eligibilty

The candidate should have completed B.E / B.TECH from a recognized university with Minimum of 60% marks in aggregate. Many colleges conduct Entrance exams and/or require a valid GATE score for admission to this course.
