Course Description

M.Tech in Welding Engineering is a full-time 2-year program that focuses on areas of study such as metallurgy and welding, welding processes, welding metallurgy, welding codes and standards, electrical aspects of welding and design of weldments etc. The primary objective of this course is to create professionals that have advanced, in-depth knowledge of the fundamentals of Welding Engineering, the necessary skill and training to work in some of the major industries in this field. This program aims to cover all the core subjects of welding engineering technology like Physical Metallurgy, Advanced Welding & allied processes, Welding Processes, Welding Application Technology, Engineering Mathematics, Computer-Aided Design & Manufacturing etc.

Eligibilty

The candidate should have completed B.E / B.TECH from a recognized university with Minimum of 60% marks in aggregate. Many colleges conduct Entrance exams and/or require a valid GATE score for admission to this course.
