Course Description

M.Tech. Infrastructure Engineering and Management or Master of Technology in Infrastructure Engineering and Management is a two-year postgraduate Structural Engineering programme. The program lays emphasis on construction/ infrastructure engineering in terms of designing, planning and environmental management of large buildings, townships, roads and bridges, transportation engineering and other infrastructure projects. After its completion, they have many options in various fields. The course focuses on both the technical and non-technical aspects of civil engineering objects and systems. The course helps to explore and concentrate on one area of civil engineering such as structures, construction engineering and management, transportation, water resources, geotechnical and environmental engineering. Construction Engineering and Management is a professional discipline that deals with the designing, planning, construction, and management of infrastructures such as highways, bridges, airports, railroads, buildings, dams, and utilities.

Eligibilty

The candidate should have completed bachelor degree B.E./B.Tech or equivalent with at least 50% marks in aggregate. Many colleges conduct Entrance exams for admission to this course.
