The program aims at training the students to handle problems in industry and research laboratories through the combined use of mathematical and computational techniques. The emphasis is on training them in various aspects of theoretical computer science, computational techniques, mathematical modeling, simulation, probabilistic and statistical tools. Students will be able to learn effectively and efficiently about devices and process technology for silicon manufacturing used in integrated electronics and circuits (IE or IC). They will gain exposure to current and future electronica and circuit devices and interconnects technology.
