Master of Technology in Laser Technology is a two-year duration full-time course and approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and offered by Jadavpur University, Kolkata. It is a postgraduate course which is a branch of Electronics Engineering. Since the invention of the laser, tremendous advances have occurred in optical systems and its components with developing related applications in various field of science including astronomy, medicine, control, communications, measurements, etc. This course provides a detailed introduction and understanding of the basic principles of physics and engineering in relation to lasers, its applications and related technologies.
