Modelling and Simulation (M&S) is the use of models, including emulators, prototypes, simulators, and stimulators, either statically or over time, to develop data as a basis for making managerial or technical decisions. The terms "modelling" and "simulation" are often used interchangeably. Candidates learn how to formulate modelling problems, build effective models, analyse data, and use models to evaluate alternative designs and processes that arise in the development of complex systems and products.
