M.Tech provides you the insight and deep knowledge of the subjects that you have studied in your B.Tech course. Many well-known institutions run the M.Tech program in part-time or distance mode also. Admissions into the M.Tech program is purely done through the national level or state level entrance exam. Candidates have to appear in the entrance exam Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) that is the All India level examination to get admission in IITs.
The candidate should have completed B. E./B. Tech./M.Sc in engineering or sciences discipline from a recognized university with Minimum of 50% marks in aggregate and a valid score in GATE.
