Course Description

M.Tech. in Petroleum Engineering is a postgraduate Petroleum Engineering course of 2 years. Course is designed to train professionals in the work-flow concepts now prevailing in the oil and gas industries, and to produce engineers that are fully prepared to work effectively in multidisciplinary teams. Petroleum Engineering is a program that prepares individuals to apply mathematical and scientific principles to the design, development and operational evaluation of systems for locating, extracting, processing and refining crude petroleum and natural gas, including prospecting instruments and equipment, mining and drilling systems and related environmental and safety systems.

Eligibilty

The candidate should have completed B. Tech / B.E Degree in relevant faculty or discipline from a recognized university with Minimum of 55% marks in aggregate. Many colleges conduct Entrance exams for admission to this course.
