Course Description
M.Tech Plastics Engineering prepares students to use mathematical and scientific principles to the design, development, and operational monitoring of synthesized macromolecular compounds. This course gives engineers an ability to use the application to the development of industrial materials with tailored properties, the design of lightweight structural components, the use of liquid or solid polymers, and the analysis and control of polymerization processes. This program provides the opportunity for the study of more advanced theory and practice in plastics materials, design, and processing. The course is suitable to design polymer products and to develop technical and technological specifications. Students get the liberty to design, organize, reorganize, innovate, and control the technological processes of polymers processing. They also tend to learn to analyze labor and materials costing in order to meet production and management challenges. Post-graduates can work in research and development, processing, quality control, technical support and sales, design and manufacture of moulds, training, management, and related activities.
