Course Description

Master of Technology (M.Tech) in Power Plant Engineering and Energy Management is a two-year full-time postgraduate program. This is an interdisciplinary program and is open for Engineering Graduates with Mechanical, Production, Automobile and Electrical & Electronics backgrounds. This program is aimed for students who are passionate to make a bright career in three momentous distinct fields of their choice, namely, Industry, Education and Research. The University being located in close proximity to Jindal Thermal Power Plant, the program provides bright prospects to students to gain practical knowledge of erection, testing, commissioning, operation & maintenance of modern power plants. It has been designed in such a way that at the completion student should have one year of industrial experience in Power Plants.

Eligibilty

The candidate should have completed Bachelor’s Degree in relevant faculty or discipline from a recognized university with Minimum of 50% marks in aggregate. Many colleges conduct Entrance exams for admission to this course.
