Course Description

M.Tech. Power Systems Engineering course curriculum covers both theoretical and practical aspects of power systems such as dynamics, power system analysis, operations, control, planning, reliability and protection, and also security, power quality and power system transients. The course trains students in understanding and operation of micro- processors and micro controllers which form a crucial part of the evolving power system technology. M.Tech. Power Systems Engineering course familiarizes students with processes of analysing, developing, designing and evaluating high-end power systems for managing a variety of challenging projects and research work.

Eligibilty

The candidate should have completed Bachelor’s Degree in B.E/B.Tech from a recognized university with Minimum of 50% marks in aggregate. Many colleges conduct Entrance exams and require a valid GATE score for admission to this course.
