Course Description

M.Tech Radio Frequency and Microwave Engineering, a specialisation of Electronics Engineering, is a 2-year full-time program that aims to provide a comprehensive understanding of the fundamental concepts and their application in the design, construction and operation of satellite and cellular radio communication. The primary objective of this course is to create professionals that have advanced, in-depth theoretical as well as practical knowledge of the field, necessary skillset, and extensive training required to work in some of the major industries such as BEL, DRDO, AIR, Indian Railways etc. Some of the core subjects that are covered during this program include Electromagnetic Engineering, Antenna Theory and Practice, Analytical and Computational Techniques in Electromagnetics etc.

Eligibilty

The candidate should have completed B.E / B.Tech from a recognized university with a minimum of 60% marks in aggregate. Many colleges conduct Entrance exams and/or require a valid GATE score for admission to this course.
