Course Description

M.Tech in Aerospace and Rocket propulsion is a Post graduate Engineering specialisation course of 2 years. The Course consists of program that is focused on in-depth study of Design and manufacturing processes involved in Aeroplanes and Space rockets. The course covers a wide range of popular subjects related to Aerospace Rocket propulsion like, Aerodynamics, Elements of aerospace, Atmospheric flight mechanics, Spaceflight mechanics, Flight dynamics and control, Aerospace vehicle design etc. Upon completion of this M.Tech course candidates can expect to get job roles as Aerospace Design Engineer, Aerospace Technical Manager, Project Manager in Engineering MNCs like Hindustan Aeronautics Limited, Honeywell, General Electric, ISRO and other aeronautical design or maintenance companies etc. Starting salaries can be expected to range from 6 to 12 Lakhs per year depending on the job position and type of company. Eligibility criteria is Merit based and candidates are expected to complete Btech/BE in Mechanical Engineering related disciplines with minimum 50% aggregate marks followed by qualifying GATE exams. Fees in Colleges/Universities are somewhere between 20K to 2 Lakhs INR.

Eligibilty

The candidate should have completed Bachelor’s Degree in relevant faculty or discipline from a recognized university with a Minimum of 55% marks in aggregate. Many colleges conduct Entrance exams for admission to this course.
