M.Tech in Turbo Machines is a 2-year full-time program that focuses on the components and systems of turbomachinery, various issues related to its components, and innovative methods and technologies that can be used to overcome these issues and problems. The primary objective of this course is to develop a comprehensive understanding of the fundamental concepts of the field and to create professionals that have in-depth knowledge, necessary skillset and extensive training required to work in some of the major industries such as Aerospace Research & Development, DRDO, Indian Railways etc. Throughout the duration of this course, some of the core subjects that are covered are- Advanced Fluid Dynamics, Thermal Turbo Machines, Hydro Turbo Machines, Advanced Heat Transfer, Finite Element Methods etc.
