Course Description
The Master's Degree in Library and Information Science (MLIS) is a full time 2 years post-graduate professional programme. The course comprises of 16 core subjects along with 1 internship, an elective, a dissertation and 4 CBCS for 70 credits divided in 4 semesters. The subjects equip students with common & essential information covering the library and information science. On the basis of these fundamentals, students opt for dissertation according to their area of interest. The course programme stresses the practical aspects of library and information science.
