Course Description
Master in Archaeology & Heritage Management [MAHM] is a 2 years postgraduate course. The course curriculum covers topics like India and the World: Through the Ages, Architecture of India, Heritage Tourism and Management - Concepts, Planning and Marketing, Cultural Heritage of India, Art of India, heritage Tourism and Management–– Agencies Organizations and Impacts, Heritage Museum and Management - Public Relations, Education, Research and Publication, Trade Routes and Cultural Interactions, Archaeology Method and Theory, Prehistory and Human Evolution, etc. The course takes a theoretical based approach. On completion of the course, one can work as Assistant Research Fellow, Museum Curator, Senior Researcher (Heritage Sites), laboratory Instructor, Senior Research Fellow, etc. Applicants with good communication skills, presentation skills, and eye for details are suitable for the course. Applicants can further get into research or become a lecturer.
