Course Description

M.F.A. Sculpture or Master of Fine Arts in Sculpture is a postgraduate Fine Arts course. The sculpture is a fluid field of endless material possibility and can exist in multiple dimensions. It is no longer defined as pure form but as an inter-play of assembled forms involving a broad range of techniques and media. The program provides a foundation or an extension for people who are, or would like to become, practicing artists in the visual arts or related fields. It allows a focused investigation into art practice, which is grounded in critical and investigative thinking and which also prepares students for further study at the research level.

Eligibilty

The candidate should have Masters or M.Phil. degree in relevant stream from a recognized university with an aggregate of 55% marks and also with valid Ph.D. entrance test (e.g. GATE, NET etc.) along with the interview.
