Course Description

Ph.D in Agricultural Chemicals is 3 to 5 years research based program.This course is the collective study of chemistry and biochemistry, which plays significant role in agricultural production, processing of raw materials into foods and beverages, and in environmental monitoring and maintenance. This course also provides the study of various chemical processes happening in the living body. Bio-chemistry is not just studying the various chemical properties of important biological substances, like proteins, enzymes etc. The students also get exposure to study the relationships among plants, animals, bacteria and their environment. The course also consists of project work and generating thesis at the end of the program, the topic will be suggested by the faculty of the colleges.

Eligibilty

The candidate should have Masters or M.Phil. degree in Agricultural Chemicals or in relevant stream from a recognized university with an aggregate of 55% marks and also with valid Ph.D. entrance test (e.g. GATE, NET etc) along with the interview.
