Course Description

Ph.D in Livestock Production And Management is 3-5 years research based program.In this course the students are taught about the various functioning parts of the plant.The program is to form capacity in integration of scientific, technological and management approaches with holistic analytical skills for addressing biological, ecological and socio-economic constraints and opportunities in livestock production and development. Master of Livestock Production and Management is a 2-year postgraduate course in Veterinary science with a specialization in Livestock Production and Management. Students who have obtained their Bachelor’s degree in Veterinary Science (B.V.Sc.) from any institute/university recognized by the veterinary council with a minimum of 55% marks or CGPA not less than 6.0 are eligible to apply for Master of veterinary science in Livestock Production and Management course. Students can pursue career as Equine Veterinarians, Research veterinarians, Dairy Consultants, Veterinarians, Academic professors, Veterinary Technician etc..The course also consists of project work and generating thesis at the end of the program, the topic will be suggested by the faculty of the colleges.

Eligibilty

The candidate should have completed Bachelor’s Degree in Livestock Production And Management or in relevant faculty or discipline from a recognized university with Minimum of 55% marks in aggregate. Many colleges conduct Entrance exams for admission to this course.
