Course Description

Ph.D. Sanskrit is a 3 years research oriented doctoral programme. The course curriculum covers topics like Vedic culture and literature, Vedanga literature, Puraana literature, Mahabharata, Sanskrit sahitya ka ltihas, Literary texts, etc. The course takes a research based approach. On completion of the course, one can work as Interpreter, Letter translator, Voice-over Script, Lead Features Editor, Content Editor - Journalism, Instructor – Sanskrit Language, etc. Applicants with interest in Sanskrit are suitable for the course. Applicants can further become a lecturer.

Eligibilty

The candidate should have Masters or M.Phil. degree in relevant stream from a recognized university with an aggregate of 55% marks and also with valid Ph.D. entrance test (e.g. GATE, NET etc) along with the interview.
