Course Description
The degree is designed to communicate an understanding of a comprehensive study in ceramics. Students engaged with the course get the chance to work with various kinds of clay from earthenware, pottery and stoneware to bone china and porcelain bodies.The clay planning at the foundation covers forms like framing, coating, terminating, intertwining, surface structure and improvement. Indian Institute of Crafts and Design has set up a complete working research center with different sorts of clay, minerals, oxides and chemicals required for low fired earthenware to high fired bone china. This confers the information of creative practice as done by studio potters and planners.
