Course Description

B.Sc Imaging Technology Radiography is a 3 years doctoral course. The course curriculum covers topics like Basic Human Sciences, Computer Applications, Radio diagnosis, Equipment, Maintenance and Quality Control, General Physics, Radiation Physics & Physics of Diagnostic Radiology, Clinical radiography, X-ray Film / Image processing Techniques (Dark Room Techniques), Contrast & Special Radiography procedures, Equipments of Modern Imaging Modalities, Radiobiology & Radiation Safety, Modern Imaging Techniques and Recent Trends in Imaging, Quality Control in Radiology, etc. The course takes a theoretical and practical based approach. On completion of the course, one can work as Radiologic Technologists, X-Ray Technician, MRI Technician, Medical Advisor, etc. Applicants can further go into research or become a lecturer.

Eligibilty

The candidate should have qualified 10+2 (any stream + English) or its equivalent from a recognized board of education with at least 60% marks in aggregate.
