Course Description

BA in Economics with specialization in Energy Economics is a 3 years graduate course. The programme is aimed at letting students gain expertise in problem solving with specialized skills in tackling economic problems faced by Energy industries to reap maximum profit in the energy sector. The essential topics included microeconomics, macroeconomics, econometrics, economic statistics, history of economic thought and political economy etc. Upon completion of the programme candidates have career prospects in Energy Resource organizations, Consultancy firms, Energy Business Firms etc. Starting salaries can be expected to range from 3 to 6 Lakhs per annum depending on the organisation. Eligibility criteria requires candidates graduate degree in any 10+2 stream with minimum 55% aggregate marks. Fees in Universities are somewhere between 1 lakh to 2 Lakhs INR per annum depending on the institutions.

Eligibilty

The candidate should have qualified 10+2 (any stream + English) or its equivalent from a recognized board of education with at least 60% marks in aggregate.
