Course Description

B Pharm Lateral Entry is a 3 years undergraduate course. The course curriculum covers topics like Pathophysiology, Pharmaceutical Microbiology, Pharmaceutics, Pharmaceutical Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Management, Pharmacognosy, Pharmaceutical Biotechnology, Physical Pharmaceutics and Pharmacokinetics, Medicinal Chemistry, Industrial Pharmacy, Pharmaceutical Jurisprudence,etc. The course takes a theoretical and practical based approach. On completion of the course, one can work as Industrial Pharmacist (Manufacturing, Packaging, Quality Control and Quality Assurance), Hospital and Community Pharmacist (Dispensing of Medicines and Counselling of patients), Sales and Distribution Executive (Detailing to Doctors and Bulk Distribution of Medicines), etc. Applicants can further go into research or become a lecturer.

Eligibilty

The candidate should have qualified 10+2 (any stream + English) or its equivalent from a recognized board of education with at least 60% marks in aggregate.
