Course Description
Biostatistics essentially combines elements of Math, Statistics and Science, aimed at resolving pressing public health problems, and devising ways to prevent them from occurring in the future. B.Sc Biostatistics deals with the basics of Bioscience, Mathematics and Statistics. It will provide theoretical as well as practical knowledge that is required to be registered as a Biostatistician.The objective of the course is to conduct research and provide contemporary education for applying statistical methods to epidemiology such as public health and related fields.
This course covers such subjects as Statistical Inference, Applied Probability, Inference, Proportions, and other related topics.
