Course Description

B.Sc Cardiovascular Technology is a 3 years doctoral course. The course curriculum covers topics like Human Anatomy, Advanced Electrocardiography, Cardiac Catheterization, Anatomy of Cardiovascular system, Exercise ECG, Physiology, Echocardiography, Pathology and Pathophysiology, Holter Recording, etc. The course takes a research based approach. On completion of the course, one can work as Cardiovascular Technician, Cardiovascular Technologist, Echocardiographer, Medical Sonographer, Registered Cardiac Sonographer, Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist, Registered Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist, Registered Vascular Specialist, Cath Lab Technician, ICU-intensivist, etc. Applicants can further go into research or become a lecturer.

Eligibilty

The candidate should have qualified 10+2 (any stream + English) or its equivalent from a recognized board of education with at least 60% marks in aggregate.
