Course Description

Bsc in orthopaedic technology course is designed to teach the skills and techniques necessary to be employed working with orthopaedic physicians to treat patients in a variety of health care environments.The goal of the course is to address common musculoskeletal problems and impart knowledge of assisting patients with orthopedic problems through application, adjustment and removal of variety of casts and splints. Students are also extensively trained on different plaster techniques, orthopedic surgeries, basics of CSSD and sterilization practices, biomedical waste management, and basic bio medical management of OT equipments and instruments.

The candidate should have completed 10+2 examination with PCMB/ PCBZ subjects from recognized university.
