Course Description
B. Tech in Biotechnology is a multidisciplinary degree that involves combined applications from Agriculture, Biochemistry, Genetics, Medicine, and Microbiology. This four-year full-time course aims to provide knowledge of important techniques, tools, practices, methodologies required in critical processes such as the development of drugs, treatment of cancer, removal of pollutants from the environment and disease resistant high yielding crops. This undergraduate course has been introduced by the university for selected students who have been given the opportunity to pursue the Summit Research Program which is based on the Harvard and Stanford models.
