Course Description

BTech in Computer Science and Engineering with specialization in Computational Sustainability is a 4 years undergraduate Engineering course. The curriculum is aimed at training candidates to develop computational models and tools for a spectrum of applications for sustainability, from policy making to analysis concerning the management of resources to the design of new products and techniques. The course covers a wide range of subjects some of which are Programming and Data structures, Advanced Data Structures, Ecology and Environment, Advanced Database Management Systems, Landscape Conservation, Game Theory, Cryptography and Network Security etc. Upon completion of the programme candidates can expect to pursue career in large Tech companies like Oracle, Google, Microsoft, Accenture, L&T, Mindtree, Wipro etc. Starting salaries can be expected to range between 5 to 10 Lakhs per annum. Eligibility criteria is Merit based and candidates are expected to complete 10+2 or equivalent in Science stream in PCM and are expected to give entrance exams like JEE, BITSAT, VITEEE. Average Fees for the course is somewhere between 1 lakhs to 3 Lakhs INR per annum depending on the institution.
