Course Description

Power Electronics is an offshoot of Electrical Engineering which essentially involves the application of solid state of electronics and the conversion principle of electrical power. The course has been designed to impart learning in the field of design, computation, control etc. of different kinds of electronics systems and under different linear or nonlinear conditions. The main subjects covered in the curriculum are Power Electronics, Network Analysis, Electronic Machines, Power Generation, Power Distribution and Transmission etc.

Eligibilty

The candidate should have qualified 10+2 (any stream). or its equivalent from a recognized board of education with at least 60% marks in aggregate. Admission is Based on Joint Entrance Examination (Jee Advanced). Candidates who qualify for admission through IIT-JEE can apply in colleges.
