Course Description
Certificate Course in Health and Fitness is a 6 months course. The course curriculum covers topics like Introduction to principles of nutrition, Physiology of Exercise, Principles of diet planning, Fitness Assessment, Role of exercise and fitness in prevention of disease and health promotion, Planning of diets, etc. The course takes a theoretical based approach. On completion of the course, one can work as fitness trainers, life coach or can also work in health centers, fitness centers, clinics, etc. Applicants can further go for higher studies in this field.
