Course Description
Diploma in Food Processing Technology is a three-year full-time course.The course aims at providing knowledge and skills required for quality control and research & development in food industries manufacturing processed foods. This is a modern course that focuses on improving distributional efficiency and enhancing the marketing of food products. It is a branch of Home Science. The curriculum will include food preservation and techniques, food quality assurance and quality control, methods of food processing, food microbiology, foodborne illness and hazards, food packaging and labelling, logistics in the food industry, industry based case studies and many more related topics.
