Course Description

Diploma in Food Production Management course aims for hospitality-based establishments, like a hotel, restaurant, food outlet, resorts, railways, airlines, cruise liners, et al which require trained personnel to supervise their operations. This course focuses separately and basically on the production of food and Patisserie (bakery items). The program comprises both a theoretical and practical approach of the study. The focus, however, is laid on practical training in workshops in addressing the catering related aspects of various food items of the hospitality industry. Major components of the study included within the course curriculum are cookery, bakery and patisserie, larder, hygiene and nutrition, commodities and costing, computer awareness, etc

Eligibilty

The candidate should have qualified 10+2 (any stream + English) or its equivalent from a recognized board of education with at least 60% marks in aggregate.
