Course Description

DM in Neurology is 3 years postgraduate degree program. The course deals with the study of nerves and human nervous system.The course also focuses on the providing practical and theoretical knowledge in the study of ailments of the nervous system components like brain, spinal cord,tissues and muscles of a human body.The aspirants are taught with various treatment techniques, diagnosis,and management plans for the care of patients suffering from disorders of the nervous system.The neurologist are the doctors who does specialty in neurology and treats disorders of brain such as stroke, multiple sclerosis, epilepsy,brain trauma, Parkinson's disease and Alzheimer’s disease among others.

Eligibilty

The candidate should have completed Master’s degree and a post graduate medical degree (MD/MS/DNB)/ Provisional Pass Certificate, or equivalent qualification with a minimum aggregate score of 55% from a college recognized by the Medical Council of India.Admission to the course is based on the candidate’s rank obtained in the National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test – Super Specialty (NEET-SS).
