Course Description

M.D. in Anesthesiology focuses on utilization of drugs that minimizes pain by causing insensibility. Under this degree, the students learn about areas such as ambulatory anesthesia, cardiothoracic anesthesiology, pediatric anesthesiology, obstetrical anesthesiology and pain management. It includes using medicines and sometimes close monitoring, to keep the patients comfortable. It can also control breathing, blood pressure, blood flow, and heart rate and rhythm. Some of the types of anesthesia are local anesthesia, regional anesthesia, and general anesthesia.

Eligibilty

The candidates who have completed their higher education that is M.B.B.S. with at last minimum aggregate marks obtained in their exams are eligible for this course. The admission process is carried over by considering the merit score of the student in their exams and some institutes conduct entrance exams.
