Course Description

The course consists of basics of ophthalmology and advanced topics such as Uvea and Vitreoretinal diseases and optical nervous system. The doctors are taught to provide eye treatment based upon analyses attained through the use of medicine, surgery, diet and other therapies. The curriculum is designed to prepare enrolled doctors in complete care of the eye, including vision services, eye examinations, medical and surgical eye operations, diagnoses, and treatment of eye diseases and other visual complications.

Eligibilty

The candidate should have successfully completed MBBS from a recognized university with a minimum aggregate score of 55%. Candidates with additional or equivalent diploma in MD can also apply for the course. Post Graduate Medical Entrance Tests conducted by various medical bodies, NEET/JIPMER/AIIMS/CMC/PGIMER
