Course Description

MBA in Global Logistics and Supply Chain Management is a post-graduation management specialisation course of 2 years duration. It is a business management program that trains candidates in the matter of managing inventory, warehousing, storage which are aspects of supply chain while transportation or movement of goods and materials are essentially part of Logistics. Some of the popular subjects covered in the programme are Managerial economics, Accounting and finance for managers, Retail store and visual merchandising, Retail marketing and CRM, Logistic management, supply chain management, Export trade and documentation. Upon completion of the programme candidates can expect to get placements as Transportation Manager, Global Logistic Manager, Industry Analyst etc in Logistics Companies, E-commerce companies and also supply chain and logistics departments of Manufacturing industries. Starting salaries can be expected to range from 5 to 15 Lakhs per annum depending on the company. Eligibility criteria is Merit based and candidates are expected to complete at least a Bachelor’s degree followed by cracking entrance exams like CAT, GMAT, CMAT etc. Average Fees for the course is somewhere between 50K to 10 Lakhs INR depending on the institutions. Many premier Business Schools like IIMs provide this course.

Eligibilty

The candidate should have completed Bachelor’s Degree in relevant faculty or discipline from a recognized university with a Minimum of 55% marks in aggregate. Many colleges conduct Entrance exams for admission to this course.
