Course Description
Master of Engineering in Metallurgical and Material Science Engineering course is concerned with the development, production, and processing of ferrous, non-ferrous, and mineral materials. It is the basis for innovative products and new technological developments in the fields of industry, technology, and medicine. Research in this department focuses on materials design. The course work will prepare individuals to apply metallurgical principles to the design, development and operational evaluation of metal components of structural, power, transmission, and moving systems, and the analysis of engineering problems such as stress, creep, failure, alloy behavior, optimal manufacturing processes, and related design considerations.
