Course Description

M.Phil. Anthropology intends to offer to qualify candidates advanced and propelled learning in the socio-cultural, pre-historic, biological, and such parts of human evolution, advancement and development. It aims to provide a solid background in analytical and methodological issues as they apply to social anthropology and allows students to develop an extended research project, which may involve fieldwork.

Eligibilty

The candidate should have a Master’s degree in Anthropology with minimum 55% aggregate score from a recognized college or university or its equivalent exam. Admission to M.Phil. in Anthropology depends upon the applicant's performance in a relevant entrance exam, and resulting round of counselling.
