Course Description

M.Phil. (Computational Linguistics) is a course dealing with the statistical or rule-based modelling of natural language from a computational perspective. In the first year of this course, students are introduced to computational linguistics, and the course also aims at providing the necessary breadth and integrating the students with the instructional philosophy of IIIT. The next semesters aim at providing avenues for specializing in one or more of the streams. All students are given research assistantships in terms of tuition fees and the work they put in for various projects.

Eligibilty

Aspiring candidates should have passed any of B.E., B.Tech. with 50% marks along with work experience in an R&D organization/institute of 3 years.
